Depression is also taking its toll on the economics, physical and mental state of the people as it drains their bodies physically and mentally fighting depression and also causes economic loss in the form of expenditure for medicines and other remedies. So the best way to fight the problem is to eliminate the root cause of depression, which can be done successfully if we know the reasons or factors causing it.
Depression can be caused by many factors like family problems, work pressure, a hectic lifestyle or just any sort of expectations. So the best way to counter it is to keep our expectations as low as possible so that every event comes as a pleasant surprise and brings happiness. Depression is so common these days because we are not giving our bodies time to relax and rejuvenate and are working like machines till we don’t feel exhausted. Our bodies and minds need time to relax and do activities, which we like doing and enjoy because they work as stress buster and relieve our tension and stress levels.
Problems in the family are also one of the major causes of
depression and can such depression can prolong for a long time. Problems like the death of a closed one or a relationship gone sour can cause a lot of depression and we need time to recover and get back to our normal lives. But w can do this successfully by the support of our family members and relatives. Such depression can be best cured at home and there might be no need to consult a doctor. Another cause for depression can be a person suffering form some other chronic illness and that might trigger depression because fighting an illness over a long time can be hard for the mind as well as our bodies.
But the main cause of depression is work pressure and our hectic lifestyles and we should try and take time out for ourselves so that the quality of our lives can be improved and our mind and body have enough time to recover and relax.
