To The Doctor’s Aid

April 30th, 2008

We are always hearing about how the advancement in medical science has benefited the patients but there is a whole other side to it. The Doctors too have derived great benefit from the rapid advancement in medical science. This is due to these advanced measures many new branches of Doctorate have sprung up which were previously non existent. Moreover new machines like the ECG machines help to equip the Doctor with the knowledge of the exact condition of the patient. Based on this the Doctor will be able to give the best possible advice and take the most effective measures.

In the older days the doctors had to conduct a number of experiments in order to determine the exact condition of the patient. This would often cause the patient more pain than the actual reason of pain relief for which he came to the Doctors. Moreover the Doctors had to perform the actions based on partial knowledge and partial conjecture which carried chances of going the wrong way and could in the end become detrimental for the patient.

Doctors also have much easier to handle and reliable devices for routine work such as digital thermometers and the like. Devices of helps them to save time as the generally work faster and are much more accurate. This helps to facilitate the doctors and fastens up the speed and accuracy of procedures that would otherwise take a long time to conduct. In the end we can see that the doctors too have greatly benefited from the advancements in medical technology.
